The Market at 7th Street — Monthly Giveaway

How to enter
Sign up for Market Trivia in the Market app and complete any vendor trivia quiz to earn one (1) entry for the month. Completing additional vendor quizzes does not earn extra entries. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Entry is open to individuals 13 years of age or older who are present at The Market at 7th Street in Charlotte, NC.
Entry limit & draw date
Each shopper is limited to one (1) giveaway entry per month, regardless of how many vendor quizzes are completed. One winner is selected at random on the first Wednesday of each month from all valid entries collected during the preceding month. The draw date is announced in the app. Odds of winning depend on the total number of valid entries received each month.
Win limit
Each participant is limited to two (2) prize wins per calendar year. A participant who has reached this limit will be ineligible to win for the remainder of the calendar year but may continue to enter. Win limits reset on January 1st of each year.
The prize
Each monthly prize is contributed by a participating Market Maker vendor and will be valued at a minimum of $40 USD. Prizes have no cash value and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or substituted. The prize must be claimed in person at the contributing vendor's location at The Market at 7th Street. Winner must present a valid photo ID matching the name on their entry submission. Unclaimed prizes expire 14 days after winner notification.
Trivia & results
Trivia results do not affect giveaway probability or chances of winning. All valid entries have equal odds in the monthly draw.
Privacy
By submitting an entry, participants consent to The Market at 7th Street collecting and storing their name and email address for giveaway notifications and market communications. Other than the contributing vendor confirming a winner's identity when the prize is claimed, vendor partners do not receive raw participant data. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties.
Eligibility & general conditions
Open to participants 13+ physically present at The Market at 7th Street, Charlotte, NC. Employees of The Market at 7th Street and participating vendors, and their immediate family members, are not eligible. The Market at 7th Street reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these rules. All decisions by the organizer are final.

What we collect
When you enter the monthly giveaway, we collect your name and email address. If you complete a vendor trivia quiz through the Market app, we may also collect your quiz activity solely to validate entry eligibility.
How we use it
Your information is used only to administer the giveaway — to verify eligibility, select a winner, and send winner notifications. If you consent, we may also send you general market communications such as event announcements and vendor spotlights.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share raw participant data with vendor partners. To operate the giveaway, entry data is processed through Microsoft Power Automate and stored in Microsoft Excel (Microsoft 365). Email notifications are triggered automatically through this same system. Microsoft acts as a data processor on our behalf and does not use your information for any other purpose.
How long we keep it
Giveaway entry data is retained for 90 days following the draw date, then deleted unless you have opted into ongoing market communications.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time by contacting us at [contact email]. You may opt out of market communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
